Themed workshops give young artists the opportunity to explore their interests in depth.

Workshops:
Mixed Media
July 13-17, 9am-noon
Ages 8-13 : $295
Introduction to Portraits: This workshop is for students wishing to learn how to draw portraits in charcoal. Previous experience is recommended but not required. This workshop is group based instruction and starts with gesture drawing for warm up each day. We will then break down how to draw the eyes, nose and mouth and finish the week with each student completing a self portrait.
Pet Portraits
July 20-24, 9am-noon
Ages 7-12 : $295
Artists will create a work of art featuring their pet or dream pet. We will go over drawing techniques and how to make it look like your pet, then add color with pastels. Artists will have the opportunity to draw more than one pet. They will need to come to this workshop with a printed picture of their pet or dream pet.
Paint Out at Sedgefield Park
July 6-10, 9am-noon
Ages 10-18 : $325

Paint outside at Sedgefield Park with us this summer. We will talk about painting landscapes from life. Oil Painting experience is required.
