The Studio

Our classroom is a traditional studio environment with each student working at an easel or drawing horse.

curriculum

Our program is built on a foundation in drawing; the more confident one feels with drawing the better they can conquer any other art medium. Once you have a basic knowledge of drawing our instruction is exclusively in oil paint. Our classes are designed for absolute beginners through emerging professionals.

We keep our teacher to student ratio low so that each student is able to have their individual needs met. This intimate environment enables us to tailor our program to help you achieve your personal artistic goals.

We aim to give our students the highest quality of art education by staffing our studio with professional artists and trained instructors who have a degree in art or are pursuing a degree in art.

Tuition

$51.25 per class, billed monthly

Tuition is auto drafted on the 1st of each month.

Tuition is calculated based on the number of times your class will meet that month. â€‹

Preview your tuition on the 25th of each month on the Portal.

*You must pay for all classes in order to hold your seat, it is your responsibility to schedule makeups for missed classes*

registration

Registration is open year round. 

  • The "Enroll" button will appear next to the class if a spot is available.

  • If the class is full you should "Waitlist" yourself for the best chance of getting a spot.

  • If no link appears, both the class and waitlist are full.

Classes run year round.* Once enrolled you will remain enrolled until you give 30 days notice via email.

*Except July. Adult classes do not run during the month of July. Enrollment will automatically continue from June to August.

​​​For anyone at any stage on their artistic path. These classes are for one-on-one instruction and are tailored to help you achieve your personal artistic goals. 

​

Beginners are welcome! We will start you with Still Life Drawing to learn how to improve your hand/eye coordination. Over the first few weeks we will go over various drawing techniques to help improve on your drawing skills and advance into more difficult drawing set ups. Next we will work on tone studies to help bring these drawings to life, eventually working our way into oil painting.

Instruction is in charcoal and oil paint. **No acrylics or water soluble oils.**
