Students who are new to Holt School should start in our All Levels Classes.
Instruction is primarily in oil paint. Chalk pastel, watercolor, and charcoal instruction is also available. Please no acrylics or water soluble oils.

All Levels Classes - For anyone at any stage on their artistic path. These classes are for one-on-one instruction and are tailored to help you achieve your personal artistic goals.
Beginners are welcome! We will start you with Still Life Drawing to learn how to improve your hand/eye coordination. Over the first few weeks we will go over various drawing techniques to help improve on your drawing skills and advance into more difficult drawing set ups. Next we will work on tone studies to help bring these drawings to life, eventually working our way into oil painting.
Intermediate Classes - Similar to our all levels classes, but with some group instruction tailored to challenge students on an Intermediate level. Recommendation from your All Levels instructor and portfolio required to join.

Advanced Classes - Instruction is exclusively in oil paint. Classes are similar to all levels and intermediate classes, but with some group instruction and long term projects designed to challenge students on an advanced level. Advanced students are required to participate in our annual art show. Recommendation from your All Levels instructor and portfolio required to join.

Tuition
​
All Level Classes - $48.75 per class*, billed monthly
​
Advanced and Intermediate Classes - $52.50 per class*, billed monthly
You must take our All Levels classes in order to be eligible for Advanced Classes.

Tuition is auto drafted on the 1st of each month - Tuition is calculated based on the number of times your class will meet each month. A preview of your tuition payment will be available on the Portal on the 25th of each month.

*You must pay for all classes each month in order to hold your seat, it is your responsibility to schedule makeups for missed classes

All Levels Classes
We work with students individually so you may join anytime if there is an opening in a class. We encourage you to join our wait list if a spot is not available.
